The ant and the grasshopper

The ant and the grasshopper were best friends. During the summer, the ant worked tirelessly to fill its food storage. Meanwhile, the grasshopper enjoyed the lovely weather, spending his days playing. 

When winter arrived, the ant stayed cozy in his home, surrounded by the food he had stored during the summer. The grasshopper, however, found himself cold and hungry in his house. He asked the ant for some food, and the ant shared a little with him. But it wasn’t enough to last the entire winter. 

When the grasshopper came back to ask for more, the ant replied, “I’m sorry, my friend. The food I have is just enough for my family to survive the winter. If I give you more, we’ll starve too. We spent all summer preparing for the winter, but you chose to play instead.”

Con kiến và con châu chấu

Con kiến và con châu chấu là bạn tốt của nhau. Vào mùa hè, kiến làm việc chăm chỉ để lấp đầy kho chứa thức ăn của mình. Trong khi con châu chấu đang tận hưởng thời tiết đẹp và chơi cả ngày. Khi mùa đông đến, con kiến nằm co ro trong ngôi nhà của mình, xung quanh là thức ăn mà nó tích trữ trong mùa hè. Trong khi con châu chấu đang ở trong nhà của mình, đói và lạnh. Anh ta xin con kiến cho thức ăn và con kiến đã cho anh ta một ít. Nhưng nó không đủ để kéo dài cả mùa đông. Khi anh ta cố gắng hỏi lại con kiến, con kiến trả lời: “Tôi xin lỗi bạn, thức ăn của tôi chỉ đủ cho gia đình tôi sống đến hết mùa đông. Nếu tôi cho bạn nhiều hơn, chúng tôi cũng sẽ chết đói. Chúng tôi đã mất cả mùa hè để chuẩn bị cho mùa đông nhưng thay vào đó bạn đã chọn vui chơi”.
