Oh, how strange! Not long ago, it was a flower, but now it’s trash. So should we call this trash or a flower? If we call it a flower, it doesn’t seem right, but calling it trash feels pitiful for the flower!
When we think about it, the nature of everything is interconnected; the flower is trash, and trash is also a flower. Likewise, in life, we may not need to reject suffering in search of happiness. Suffering and happiness are one and the same; it is thanks to suffering that happiness exists.
The reason we experience suffering, worry, and sorrow is due to a lack of understanding and compassion. Just like a flower that cannot be without trash (fertilizer), it cannot remain a flower. Wherever there is an abundance of understanding and compassion, there is a fullness of happiness.

Ô hay ! Mới hôm nào là Hoa, sao bây giờ là Rác. Vậy thì ta gọi đây là Rác hay hoa, nếu gọi là Hoa thì không ổn, mà gọi là rác thì thấy thương đóa hoa quá !
Suy cho cùng, bản chất của mọi sự việc là TƯƠNG TỨC, Hoa là rác và rác cũng là Hoa.
Cũng vậy, trong cuộc sống có thể ta không nên chối bỏ khổ đau mà đi tìm hạnh phúc. Vì khổ đau và hạnh phúc cũng là một, nhờ khổ đau mới có hạnh phúc.
Sở dĩ chúng ta bị khổ đau, lo lắng, muộn phiền là do thiếu chất liệu của Hiểu và thương. Giống như Hoa mà thiếu rác (phân bón) thì không thể là hoa được.
Ở đâu có nhiều chất liệu HIỂU và THƯƠNG thì ở đó có Hạnh phúc đong đầy
