Coconut exports to China increase

After nearly two months of official export approval, many businesses have signed contracts to supply tens, or even thousands, of containers of coconuts to China.

In August 2023, fresh Vietnamese coconuts were officially allowed to be exported to China. Businesses quickly seized this opportunity. According to Mr. Cao Bá Đăng Khoa, General Secretary of the Vietnam Coconut Association, many major companies have signed contracts to export 30-50 containers, and some businesses have secured orders to supply 1,500 containers to China. This is a positive sign for the future of Vietnam’s coconut industry in this billion-strong market, Mr. Khoa said.

Xuất khẩu dừa sang Trung Quốc tăng

Sau gần hai tháng được xuất chính ngạch, nhiều doanh nghiệp ký được hợp đồng cung ứng vài chục, thậm chí cả nghìn container dừa sang Trung Quốc.

Tháng 8/202\, dừa tươi Việt Nam được phép xuất khẩu chính ngạch sang Trung Quốc. Các doanh nghiệp nhanh chóng tận dụng cơ hội này. Ông Cao Bá Đăng Khoa, Tổng thư ký Hiệp hội Dừa Việt Nam cho biết, nhiều đơn vị lớn đã ký được hợp đồng xuất khẩu 30-50 container, thậm chí có doanh nghiệp ký đơn hàng cung ứng 1.500 container sang Trung Quốc. Đây là chỉ dấu tích cực cho tương lai ngành dừa Việt Nam tại thị trường tỷ dân này, theo ông Khoa.
